fucking sucks now. I haven't been there in a while, but now every other video you play has a 12 second ad at the beginning. We're talking like 30-60 second videos, and you have to watch a commercial every other time. First you dissolve nothingtoxic claiming to "combine" it with your site, now this. No thank you.

I <3 Adblock plus.
It blocks ads on Hulu, but not on Youtube. I don't know if it does on Break. But even if it does, you still have to sit through a black screen for the duration of the ad. And in the case of Hulu, a black screen with text asking you to please turn off your adblocking program.

I don't get any ads on Youtube. I don't know if it's from Adblock or one of the Greasemonkey scripts I have. There's probably a script to fix Break...there seems to be one for every annoyance I find.

It's very rare that I see an ad on youtube. It's always on some video that's posted by a company, rather than a normal user.

I just spent like 10 minutes on Break without seeing an ad. Again, it could be Adblock, it could be NoScript...you should be using both.

I don't remember the last time I got an ad on Youtube, or any sort of blank waiting screen. And I don't frequent Break much, but I went over after reading this thread and watched 5 videos without any ads. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Maybe the "ads" that Chigworthy sees are just the voices. Keep an eye on that guy for a while.

Fucking around with scripts is a nuisance for me. I can live peacefully without break.com.

I've found NoScript to be more of a pain in the ass than its worth. Adblock is plenty most of the time, and as long as you're not buying WoW gold and are careful with your porn you should be OK.

I installed this last night after you guys posted it. It works great on imdb and cbssports but it didnt work on hulu. I just watched an eps of last man standing to test it out and all the commercial breaks still aired the commercials. Am I doing something wrong, is there a way to set it up or change settings? Does it work differently on chrome (thats what I use) compared to firefox?

I don't think it blocks ads on HULU or Network websites like ABC.com though.

I think it blocks the actual ad from showing...but still makes you wait the 15 or 30 seconds.

In my experience, Hulu detects AdBlock and tells you to disable it. It won't let you continue until you do.

At that point, I always just say "Fuck you, I'll download it instead."

it didnt prevent me from watching something but it also didnt prevent the commercials/ads from playing. no big deal it has worked on other sites so it is worth keeping but i was really hoping it would remove the ads on hulu.

do you use it via chrome or firefox?
