yeah... from what ive seen on it, there was some kind of apocalyspe type event and north america was divided into 13 sections/districts. each district specializes in producing a specfic thing which is sent to tha capital, panem. every year, children 12-18 are forced to enter their names for tribute for the yearly survival contest, the hunger games. its basically thunderdome, but with kids, and its televised to the 13 districts. the winner gets extra food/rations/supplies for their district for that year.

usually, by the time the abuser gets around to finally putting his* hand on a woman, there has been a HUGE mental beating and social isolation. he usually has her convinced that there is no one out there that could love her/no support system out there because she's worthless, etc. this mental breakdown starts with little things like "i dont like that dress youre wearing" and shit like that. he's been breaking her down for a long time.

this is where that woman who goes back needs that sympathy the most.

*(i say he because the abusers are mostly male, but we've had some wife on husband abusers)

The only benefit I can see to having the store order it for you is if they dont pass shipping cost on to you, but then you lose the ability to shop around by locking into the store buying it on your behalf.
