This is the key point that Ron misses: There are people in the world who only follow the rules because of fear of hell or incarceration. If the world is going to end, what is the worst consequence for the people who follow the law out of fear of incarceration? The death penalty? 3 weeks in prison?

Ron is out of his mind if he thinks it is going to be Woodstock. I am sure I could spend my final days dancing while kids who are just realize that they are not going to see the end of the 3rd grade are crying.

The reason that individuals who get brain tumors don't usually kill their bosses because most people aren't that screwed up. But if I had to guess based off of my high school graduating class, I think at least 40% of the boys would rape, loot, and murder if the end were coming (some of them already committed such crimes without the end of the world coming).
