Looks good.
How does Seth MacFarlane find the time for all these projects? He directs this too.

This does look really good.
It should be noted though that Seth is clearly ripping off this gem.

People keep posting this and loving it, so I finally watched it. It's incredibly unfunny.
And how the fuck is Mark Wahlberg's Boston accent so fucking bad when he's from there?

That's a Boston accent? I thought it was the accent of a guy who could stop 9/11.

Sorry, couldnt disagree more. I laughed through the entire red band trailer. Then again, I LOVE Family Guy too. Its not for everyone.

Don't think of him as an actor. Think of him as an underwear model who is in a movie.

This was pretty funny. A formula comedy with no real surprises (ok, one extended cameo was really great) but it has some funny scenes to keep you laughing.

Well, damn...it had a huge opening weekend (http://movies.yahoo.com/news/box-office-report-ted-earns-record-54-1-155620510.html?fb_action_ids=467262166636969%2C101 50987181375999%2C467284539968065%2C101509877022409 99%2C3697465947756&fb_action_types=news.reads&fb_ref=type%3Aread%2Cuser%3AEvvUpfEI7XC0WpMXCJFEwi v4OkY%2Ctype%3Aread%2Cuser%3AbD1yZ_qUsRA39crclUrSu gjtzec%2Ctype%3Aread%2Cuser%3An35SS7NVa3nxf6dhWhb6 Fq-CfbU&fb_source=other_multiline&code=AQBnQu19FiGXqkKpAJU1iv1B7TQpZ4ZlHAoPbFNJVKaKa j9pIoApDVaoYIrRHhQDMEqXO9fLRn_xw6SkQDcuYh4tc2nowF2 NNi0DhUeWkkxC4fyf2RSjP0Tgw7zJG7dC9UkltclgAM3oXUU7z WpiiZKuv_EgWB7zhIoUnthCPgKHXb5dOz4vBNaDvM-4lS8-0As#_=_)!

I took the girls to see Brave last night and we had to work our way through massive crowds waiting for Ted.

I don't even remember how I found this... (http://townhall.com/columnists/brentbozell/2012/07/06/that_terrible_ted_movie) But it's pure hilarity in the comments section.

Ted was a good time, although two or three of the best scenes were in the extended R-rated trailer, so stay away from that if you plan to see it. But don't go by me. It took me until about 1/3 of the way through the movie to realize his name is Ted because he is a Ted-dy Bear. Jesus fuck I am a moron.

Yes, general consensus is that it's a good time and yeah it is. If a movie can make me forget about the world for the duration of the movie, it's fine with me. Only actually laughed about 3-4 times.

I felt that way during the first 40 minutes (as there were very similar family guy storytelling "tricks"... you know what I mean) but they abandon that halfway through.

The Airplane gag?
The first time they met gag too. And then the whole "obscure campy star" theme that runs through several Family Guy episode is clearly apparent in this movie
