It depends what you're willing to believe about their intentions. We need a lighter black guy because of lighting- not offensive. We need a lighter black guy because it turns off white people less than a dark black guy but still makes us appealing to blacks- we're getting there.

It's also a two way street because it's true, whites like to look at light black guys more than dark ones, and how much do you want to task advertisers to change that perception? I cant get 100% behind asking companies to spend their money less effectively to help change perceptions years down the road. At the same time that's the way people are going to loose these unfair perceptions.

Yeah but I think they knew that all along. They said they would do a new 'haunting' every season or two and make it more like an anthology series. But they're going to use atleast some of the same actors, although it's unclear if it's the same characters or not.

I'm pretty sure Jessica Lange and Quinto are both in the new season. It's kindof a cool idea, I dont need the same story arc for 5 seasons but I do like seeing the same actors in stuff.
