He brought us a lot of fun for many years. Godspeed.
May I be filled with loving kindness,
May I be well,
May I be peaceful and at ease,
May I be happy (or free from suffering.
May you be filled with loving kindness,
May you be well,
May you be peaceful and at ease,
May you be happy (or free from suffering).
May all beings be filled with loving kindness,
May all beings be well,
May all beings be peaceful and at ease,
May all beings be happy (or free from suffering).

Yeah Im surprised to find this out. He did so much for charities you would think he would have done something for cancer awareness and or there would be reports by the media about his fight. I guess reporting a story about a good guy fighting isn't worthy of reporting. Maybe if he was tanning with his child or cheating on his wife they would be all over it?!
Sad.
wow, this is really sad.
I'm not the most up on the news guy but even I knew that he had been battling cancer.

Awful news. I was under the impression that he'd beaten his cancer. The Beastie Boys just put out an album last year.

This sucks as does 'the c' never got to deep into thier music but did like it and it will remain fresh for me. It was the all instrumental album The Mix
Up that impressed me and reintroduced me to their talent. I will track down the other instrumental album The In Sound from Way Out! now.
This video is the song electric worm from The Mix
Up.
