I wonder how the ratings for his old show "Live" are since he left. Kelly is OK but the few times I've channel-surfed through it, it has been unwatchable.

He was good. He likes to go on fresh and they had him come in hours early to be on the Today Show.

He said he wanted to get out of the grind of doing a daily morning show, and doesn't want to do that again. I respect that, but he would be great doing a Larry King type show once or twice a week.

From the times I saw him on his morning show, Regis knows his stuff. Expect weekly recaps of Notre Dame football games in the fall, though. Of course, Cablevision will probably include Fox Sports 1 in some expensive premium sports package so most of us won't get to see it.
