I don't know why but that doesn't startle me that much. But I was walking across a bridge over the Murasaki River in Kitakyushu Japan when there was a typhoon and a HUGE wave struck the bridge. There is a very solid difference between complaining and boycotting.

I thought it was good. I complain because I don't agree, not because I dislike the show.

I get incredibly annoyed with Ron's ”be a rebel” personality mixed with, ”people
who complain about smoking need to lighten up and stop worrying about comfort all the time.” If you are a rebel, stop worrying about non-smokers opinions. They want you to not light up your poser cigar in their company.

Ron's argument yesterday, and the lack of a decent caller to argue the other side really annoyed me. Oreo made thatpro-gay statement at their own risk. Either they thought that they could increase sales by attracting more pro gay buyers than they lost anti-gay buyers, or they thought the cause was so important that they were willing to lose sales over it. Corporations are free to support whatever cause they want and people are free to support whatever company they want for whatever reason they choose. Some people might boycott NBC for running a chick-fil-a ad and some people won't; everyone has their own standards as to what companies to support. These companies know the risk they are taking when they take a political stance and they have deemed any stance they have taken to be worth making public, either from an ideological or marketing standpoint.
