I don't think gambling has anything to do with moving the second start time.
They just don't want any overlap of the games, most likely due to advertising rates.

Louie has commented on this
And for another, this season will see the reintroduction of C.K.'s fictional, occasionally talked-about ex-wife—and unlike her fleeting appearances in earlier episodes, this time she'll be black. He recently explained the decision on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying,"When a black woman tells you to get a job, it's just more..." before trailing off with a laugh meant to convey how inspirational it is, we suppose. Today he elaborated more on dealing with the cognitive dissonance of his otherwise totally white family: "To me, the racial thing is like—when people probably first see her, their brains do a little bit of DNA map and go 'I'm not sure I get how that would happen,' and then I think with my show, most people, they go 'Oh, all right, just go ahead.'

In my neighborhood when I was young, there was a boy who was the son of a black father and a white mother. When "Jungle Fever" came out, I was baffled by the controversy. There again, I heard the word nappy so often from black kids being used to insult black and white kids I was also baffled by the Imus controversy.
Also, the kids black father was really kind and stoic... his white mother was like a mean librarian who would smack him all the time.

I have been following a series of books by John Sandford, they are refered to as the "Prey" series, in 1990 they made one of the books into a made for TV movie, they cast the big black guy from ER, Eriq LaSalle. The books all take place in Minnisota and the main character is white, and dark complected , with blue eyes. It took me out of the movie, but only because I had read all the books, I doubt it would bother anyone else.
Last year USA did one of the books, Mark Harmon played the main guy, not tough enough, the black guy was better.

Like in the late 80s early 90s you'd record everything on SLP speed VHS, so you'd have 3 moves per tape, quality totally jacked but you didn't care, and you'd have to have some kind of filing system to tell where they were on the tape.
I recently finally threw out all of my old VHS tapes because I haven't owned a VCR in a few years.

And as stated, they aren't remaking Spider Man because they want to, they're remaking it because they cant make a sequel to the last series and if they dont make a new movie they have to forfeit the property.
Then you have stuff like Total Recall, RoboCop and Starship Troopers are supposed to be getting different treatments, not that I approve of that.

We would just hunt and peck through the movie, we were kindof white trash. My friends with more stuck up families had the time codes and everything all nice and neat.
Cinemax used to have independant movies at midnight and I would just tape whatever they were showing and watch them. Thats how I got to see Rose Mcgowen naked.

The other thing they're forgetting about Spider Man is at any given time in comics you have sometimes 3 or 4 titles running for the popular characters, all different story lines, and they all do just fine. Nobody cares that Amazing Spider Man is Peter Parker and Ultimate Spider Man is that peurto rican kid.
I believe Paul O is saying that the soundtrack to Ted is heavy on Ultra Lounge music. I haven't seen the movie, but MacFarlane is a huge fan of the Mad Men-era complete with crooning.

I hate that the comic book companies make multiple titles of the same character.

yes, they do describe him that way, and Tyler Perry is bulkier, so he will look the part, But I enjoyed the Freeman movies.
USA did "Certain Prey" in 2011, it's always nice to see a book you've read come to life, and you go into it knowing it won't be as good as the book. It was fair, Harmon just isn't tough enough to play Davenport.

yes, they do describe him that way, and Tyler Perry is bulkier, so he will look the part, But I enjoyed the Freeman movies.
USA did "Certain Prey" in 2011, it's always nice to see a book you've read come to life, and you go into it knowing it won't be as good as the book. It was fair, Harmon just isn't tough enough to play Davenport.
Awright, I know I'm sailor quoting, but yeah, Mark Harmon is too much a pretty boy to play Davenport, who is described repeatedly as a thug.
So, did Fez leave early for vacation? Because the little I heard and what I read sounded like the Ron and Earl Show.

My problem is forcing people to buy something they may not be able to afford. I'd actually have much less objection if it really was universal, paid for by the gov't thru taxes.

Isn't the idea that the low cost goverment option health care becomes affordable because you're requiring everyone to have some form of health care, so anyone who doesn't have it otherwise pays in making it more affordable? And there are provisions for really poor people not having to have it. Why dont you hear a lot of dust up about car insurance being required?

You could also argue you dont have to carry health care, you just have to pay a penalty if you dont, which we're now legally calling a tax. They're not going to stick you in jail for not having it. I'm sure they'll seize your shit if you dont pay your penalty, but they do the same thing if you dont pay your taxes or you have a lot of bad debt.
I'm reading that Medicaid is to be expanded for people under a certain poverty level, then the next group of people will have goverment subsidized private health care. The irony is, in my experience, the people really freaking out about compulsary health care already have it. I dont know anyone who doesn't have health care by choice, and I do not A LOT of people who get sick and dont go to the doctor because they dont have insurance, and I've been that person. I've also seen someone struggle to get on medicaid for over 2 years.
