I've mentioned it before but there is a really troubling judgment that the new food philosophy people put on the food traditions they're supplanting. You have the richers like Ron and even worse the younger bohemians who dont understand that not making much money isn't the same as being poor, IE if your take home is 25k a year it makes a pretty big difference if you have kids or not.


There is a lot of sticking their head in the sand, and it's really insulting. Ron needs to get that you dont eat quality meat 21 times a week, there isn't enough of it for that. You eat quality meat maybe 3 times a week and you're a vegetarian the other 18 meals. And if you want to do away with all the farming practices you hate the price of food is going to start being a campaign issue again, like it was in the 50s. You're going to have to deal with the idea that people are going to literally starve to death in America.
