Before amazon and stuff, there used to be culty little "wiccan" book / paraphernalia type stores all over the place.
My ex thought she wanted to get into it in the mid-90's. She made me help her find a place, and once we did, the owner/operator just wouldn't shut the hell up. She ended up selling her a couple hunnerd worth of books and stuff.
My ex maybe read one of them, and was bored after a couple of days after she realized that it wasn't teaching her to cast spells and such... even though the chick at the store already told her that "spells" wasn't what it was all about. I think I still have one of those stones that she used to make me carry in my pocket.
I guess my point is, try to find a local "wiccan" type bookstore, and I'm sure they'll steer you into an "intro" type book.

How long did it take for you to break up with her once you realized that she thought people could actually cast spells?

Ha! Yeah, it should have been a huge red flag.
But unfortunately now that same chick is the mother to my two sons.
The marriage lasted all of 3 years.

I was never into that stuff. I did download the grand grimore as a pdf. It supposed to detail how to summon a spirit. Never tried. I just like the
Medieval artwork.
