Anyone catch this premiere last Sunday?

Very good. Takes place in the 1800's, Five Points. At first I thought it was going to be an 1800's The Shield type show... but it quickly turned into more of a Sherlock Holmes meets Gangs Of New York. Possibly. Still too early to tell. But there are already some great characters and their accents aren't too think where you need subtitles.

Recorded it. Havent watched it. They promote this heavy during top gear. This and that whiny merlin show. "if i cant use magic, then what have i got?"

Id have normally watched merlin, but damn that kid seems annoying

production values are impressive, the historical accuracy seems strong, Tom Fontana has a very impressive career (St Elsewhere, Homicide, Oz, The Borgias) so I'm definately in.
The first episode was a little muddy but then Five Points, NYC in the 1860's was muddy.
