My $0.02 on the evening:

Even though I admit my bias leans towards the Dems and that may be coloring my opinion, I thought the infomercial/dog & pony show aspect to this thing was so much stronger tonight than any of the moments the Reps mounted last week. I was kinda surprised how unpolished and "untight" Romney's show was as compared to previous Rep. conventions.

Of the speeches I saw Michelle, Deval Patrick & the lady with the sick little girl kicked ass. The Ledbetter lady & the Castro guy were good but not great and O'Malley better forget 2016 and get himself appointed as a University President or something.

Most, if not all, of the speeches were talking up marriage equality. I assume the Obama campaign people have data that shows this will play well in the states they have to win or else I doubt they'd be hitting the point over & over. If that is true I find it kinda amazing how quickly public opinion has flipped on this. I gotta listen to tomorrow's show to see how Sr. Whatley snatches depression out of the jaws of satisfaction on this point.

Clinton is an incredible speaker and always was great at being able to explain what is going on. He is one of, if not the best, politician ever. He fired up the room and it was pretty damn exhillerating to watch.

They had the stadium filled, but logistically couldn't predict whether the weather would screw them.
