I'm hoping it's not one of those movies where all the good parts are in the trailer. I love me some Christopher Walken though, so I'm a-gonna risk it.

I want the opinion of an expert, PaulO, that's why I started this in your forum. Do you think this is going to be worth my time, money, and the 3000 calorie bucket of popcorn that I will eat while in the theatre?

You're racist.

I have little faith in ensemble comedies.

Martin is one of the best playwrights in the world and his movies are great too, so a big YES

Ok I just read a summation that makes it sound more existential so I'm back in.

I love the back and forth, the up and down, the in and out.

We all know how you feel about the in and out you perv.

I'm also looking forward to The Lonliest Planet and The Sessions. When I was a kid I saw the Mark O'Brian short doc on HBO and I was really fascinated by him and it.

Wanna go together? Just don't do that "penis in the popcorn bucket" trick again.

Ok, but I'm gonna need you to hold the pop corn bucket, cut a hole in the bottom, and unzip your pants.

Also would've accepted:

Are you sure, it cuts like 1500 calories out of the bucket?

Both of those suggestions are just silly. The popcorn would be rooned.

John Hawkes fan since day 1, or atleast Deadwood. But why do they get Helen Hunt for anything when Laura Linney is around?

Helen Hunt is spectacular in this but two things....

She is nude and fucking a lot and her face has gone weird which kind of adds to the character's vaugely damaged quality

Yeah, Laura Linney gets just as down and dirty as Helen Hunt and she's way better looking and way less annoying as an actress. And what do you mean 'gone weird?' She's always had that easter island head. For that matter you could've gotten Juliane Moore or Jennifer Jason Leigh.
