Big fan of this month of programming.

Same here, but I wish they wouldn't split it up. I like it when it's a block right in the show, so I can listen to just the jocktober stuff.

And I did enjoy yesterday that, right after the jocktober bit, they were talking about the fox news suicide and how it had dislikes on youtube. Without a hint of irony, Opie said, "people are just dicks for no reason" and Jimmy & Ant agreed with him.

Vos was right but too Vos to really jump on it. But their reasoning was pretty awful. The reasons are bad enough but mostly that they were arguing that it was a sound, mature decision they were making to date 20 year olds.

Anyone else having issues with the "online feed"? I use the "online feed" which is completely endorsed by Sirius and it has been spotty lately. Is there another "online feed" out there these days? If not, I'll have to go to the "online archive", also completely endorsed by Sirius, and get yesterdays R&F in lieu of listening to the channel live today, on the "online feed" that Sirius is completely aware of and ok with existing. What I'm trying to say is, I need a completely above board and sanctioned "online feed" to listen to.

Only thing that sort of bothered me from today's show...Jimmy was going to blow up about the Denver altitude, Obama thing but the minute he heard it was a comedian, you can actually hear his mood change...like everyone is a asshole but if a comedian is a asshole then the comedian is never a asshole.

Also hate when jimmy bitched about smokers and health care..that smokers should pay more because we cost more..this coming from a guy who uses no bag with trannies and hookers..yea that does not bring up the cost of health care...DICK.

I am just saying that I want O&A show to be sort of real and not a fake phony show..but then again it is just a fuckin radio show..I really need to get other hobbies and interests...ok going to read comic books

I don't know man, I know it's not a direct mimic, but the concept and the pauses are close enough to make it fair for these guys to ask the question.
Stern claimed the idea for unplugged was stolen from him because he had artist playing and singing live on his show. This ain't that.

I watched the Classic Albums documentary on the making of their album Paranoid, and they showed how Ozzy would work out the vocal melodies by singing nonsense words and syllables, which Geezer Butler would then fit lyrics to, usually drawn from sci-fi and/or horror movies.

Ozzy's lyrics were better.

His celebrity worship is so embarassing. Like any addict, he must not realize how degrading his addiction is.

Yesterdays music discussion was equally embarassing. The only music aside from Ozzy that he likes are bands that have opened for Ozzy, or in some other way have the Sharon Osbourne seal of approval. Yet he apparently has no knowledge of the the less mainstream acts that she has managed, like Coal Chamber. I bet Jimmy would know all about Alice in Chains if he knew that Robert Trujillo was in the band in it's later years.

At some point, one of the buffoons said something like rock is dead and there aren't bands like Motorhead around anymore. And yet they won't look beyond top 40/American Idol/hipster indie outlets for their music. Tell High On Fire that bands like Motorhead don't exist anymore. The rock is dead thing is always said by someone who got so soft that they just don't listen to rock anymore and would rather listen to Lady Gaga and MGMT because of the drastic decrease of testosterone.

Opie and Anthony are the least proud of New York proud of New Yorkers I have ever heard. In a way it's beautiful for someone like me who really hates the New York Media bias. But alls they do is bitch about the events, the people, the everything. Opie likes New York because it's the best chance he has at walking down the street and getting a viral video.
