I look at it like Ron's character is about extremity, he never allows for any grey area or wiggle room on something. It's impossible to listen to that and not respond in kind, so that's why you either get the reaction of "you're 100% right and a genius, Ron" or "I cant believe this loudmouth asshole." He knows how to generate reaction and drive calls.
