I think it's great news. The continuity has always been the problem, when you start making stand alone movies you can just have some shit to enjoy instead of all the maddening details of the two trilogies. Plus, get that shit out of Lucas' direct hands and it will improve. He's a big picture man but he needs someone else to do the grunt work.
