The March to March Madness has begun! I know you fuckers won't be ready to talk until March, but top of the early heap is not full of the ACC this year, it's Indiana and Louisville and , of course my beloved KY WildCats.

Did they ever end up playing the Marquette Ohio State game on the aircraft carrier, or was there just too much condensation on the court?

Cancelled. I don't know how they make it up since both teams play Sunday

Finally good weather for a carrier game.

Duke and Kentucky tonight, I'm worried about my Cats playing a top 10 team this early in the season, they are awfully young. I think they'll be one of the best teams come March, but so far they haven't put together 2 complete halves so far this year.
Plus Goodwin tends to charge the paint hard, and a little out of control at times, I know if he does that against the flopping Blue Devils it'll look like a bowling alley out there, all 5 on the floor will fall out and probably a few on the bench, they can't help it.

Willie Cauley-Stein has been a nice surprise. It's going take a little while for the Cats to come together. It honestly looks like a mosh pit at both ends of the court.

yes it does, but we are hanging with them. Willie is gonna be a star, hard to believe he's coming off the bench.

no way to know that for sure, what is for sure is that UConn got a post season ban for playing academically ineligable players and if the NCAA ignores this level of academic fraud they'll be proving themselves to be protectors of the Blue Bloods.

As soon as I posted the Tar Heels started a mini rally. While I like to see coaches create a legacy at one school one would have to think Stevens is going to be lured by a bigger job at some point.

from what I've read he's had offers but says he's happy there. But I say he's staying where he is until coach K, Calipari, or Roy Smith retire, he can write his own ticket if he keeps putting good teams on the court.

Somehow I can't seemed to get overly excited about a division III guard scoring 138, but I know it's all I'm going to hear about for the next week or so. I'm sure Magic Johnson is already working the phones trying to secure the movie rights at this very moment.

I think he's going to do what Mark Few did at Gonzaga and stay put. Shaka Smart at VCU did the same thing too.

And from projected #1 draft pick to torn ACL, poor Nerlens Noel.

That's not quite up there with Theisman's leg collapsing on him, but damn that's ugly.
And, UK fans, this is what you get with Calipari. He's going to bring in the top recruits in the nation, but they aren't going to stay more than a year or two. Which means you better hope they gel quickly. If they do, you could win a national championship, if they don't...well, you get this year.

after Gillispie, elite 8, final 4, national championship. I'll take it. We just didn't get a good point guard this year, missed on Shabazz. Next year we have the #1 PG in the country coming, and a few of these guys will end up coming back. We'll be back in the mix next year, that's something we couldn't say during Tubby's last years and any of Gillispie's.

Holy shit, Rodney Williams just had a crazy block on a three point shot by Oladipo. He was seven feet away and elevated for the block with the ball approaching the top of it's arc.

I've never been big into college ball (although I like March Madness), but for some reason near the beginning of the season I thought to myself whoever wins the Georgetown-Villanova matchup will end up making the finals of the tourney. That is if the winner is selected.

As long as they get a berth, watch out for Nova in the tourney.

Yeah, the Noel thing was gnarly too, but this was just a whole different level of awful. His leg was literally U-shaped. Way worse than the Theismann break, although to be fair I do find anything that causes Joe Theismann pain to be hilarious.

That's probably even more gruesome than the Theismann break, if only because he was wearing shorts and you could see the whole thing.
I read a report that a couple of the players on the court actually did throw up after seeing it.

I think I shared a plane ride with this jerkoff. It was the middle of last September and I'm flying from Tampa to Newark, sitting at the gate i noticed a man with a rutgers polo and slacks watching what appeared to be a basketball game on his ipad. He then got on his phone and started a bitch fest on whomever filmed the game footage, such as the editing or the angle it was shot. He then hung up and left the gate in a huff. I wondered what Rutgers head basketball coach was doing in Tampa to begin with, it was about 3-4 days after Rutgers defeated USF but it was football, not basketball.

He should have been fired for his horrific record over the last three years. I think its stupid that they are firing him now instead of a few months ago when the university knew about all this stuff, because essentially, the only reason they are firing him now is because there is a video out there of him being a lunatic.
