Outside of having it right in front of his face, he doesn't mind and lets people do their own thing despite his personal beliefs. To me, not everyone just wants to be in on some bit when it conflicts with their own beliefs or take on things and I can respect it even though I hate religion. If Fez wants respect, which he does deserve, don't make a bit about it all and expect everyone to just follow suit that aren't core show members. Fez and Ron never respect the church much either, but that's their call and I agree with it. However, it's a right to go either way on these things...no pun intended.

the guy that called was an idiot...however, not seeing the guy's reaction yesterday, I thought he just didn't want a picture of him beside two guys making out floating around the interwebs

I didn't think that meant he was a homophobe and Ron didn't get his picture with the two guys making out which I don't think means he's a homophobe...it had to be something in the guy's visual reaction or it just another of their famous works (why else would Fez keep droning about it at the end?)

Yeah, I love Ron but I don't know what the fuck the point of that whole exercise was.

Kinda offputting to hear him get loud with Barca's buddy and act like he "disappointed" everybody with the reaction (or non-reaction) he had to Fez and Paulo going at it on the couch. Ron says everybody else acted "normally" to it, but if he's being honest, Barca was the only one who wasn't in on it. And even then, he didn't storm out of the studio or throw up in a trashcan or anything... he just kinda shrugged and kept talking.

Then when Ron kept insisting he take a picture with the two old fat guys making out/licking nipples (or whatever the hell they were doing) on the couch, I can't blame him for thinking it was some sort of setup, because well... it was.

Whole thing was dickish and who cares cuz it was just some Monday timekilling fun, but to bring it up the next day and have Fez crying and acting like Barca is a homophobe and that Ron was surprised that Barca was slightly grossed out by a scenario that was pretty much engineered to gross him out is pretty fucking petty. Ron is better than that. Then after a few callers defend Barca, he blows it off as "who cares? it was a throwaway stunt that didn't work? why make a big deal about it?" when he's the one who brought it up the next day complete with Fez calling Barca homophobic and using him as an example for why gays will never get a fair shake or whatever the hell. Don't care either way about Barca, but dude got lynched.

If you don't want these dudes coming by and boring everybody because they're bad radio, just tell them not to come by. Don't need to shock n' jock em out of the studio. :thumbdown:

I think what's worse is that they didn't get the reaction they were looking for. Barca just kinda blew it off and didn't want anything to do with it so the bit died on the vine.
