View Full Version : the future in the movies

What I want is a time line of movies about the future when they were made and the future they described but I don't think anyone has put in the work to figure it out. Frankly it's a huge task. Obviously things like time travel (is that controversial?) don't exist but many things about the future have been predicted by science fiction.
So hopefully we can figure it out together.

I dont think time travel is controversial unless you're going to the future to smoke abortion out of your gay marriage.

It may be that noone has done it because noone sees any conceivable use for it.

did science fiction really predict it ?
or did science create it because of science fiction ?

I think scifi books predicting the future would be more interesting.
