So sometimes my thoughts kindof run away.

We have this cat that's on a real routine, and yesterday morning she no showed at breakfast. I took a quick look around and she wasn't in the usual places so I think "maybe she got into the garage where shes been nosing lately." I look under my car and she isn't there so I think "maybe she got outside when my brother left" and I open the door and it's dark and super super foggy, and there's a fucking cat in the drive way that wont let me get close enough to it to get a good look, it bounds off into the mist like some king lear shit. But I know from silohette that it wasnt my cat, but it wierded me out enough that by the time I got to work I was seriously considering that the cat had crawled up into my engine because it was warm, and I might be hearing meows behind my radio.

Oh I really dont think LaBron was carrying more pressure than Phelps. Phelps had the whole fucking country on him to do something historic in an international competition in mostly individual events.

LaBron is a professional on a team.

When I turned the radio off I knew I was being crazy, but you know how it's really easy to hear things underneath other sounds. I wasn't seriously worried but I definately had the thought stuck in my head.

Psyched for the bo jackson 30 for 30.

Yelp is fucking awful. People just like to shit talk, they have really unrealistic expectations and standards. Or the people are total shit munchers that love everything. I never go to yelp anymore, I'll just go to the place and check it out if I'm interested in it.

I don't use yelp, but these uneducated reviewers who aren't worthy of reviewing your restaurant - they're your average customer.

A big product in small-medium businesses now is reputation management, too. Places hire services to go out and delete/alter/respond to negative reviews. Soon you wont be able to trust any free review service.

just hearing about that made me cringe.

maybe it just because its a sensitive space for me, but i never understood the appeal of having all those "warming" or "tingling" lotions. they seem like it would just make everything burn and be super uncomfortable.

Ron suddenly won't be a dismissive twat about everything Tolkien anymore once a major cast member is in studio.

yeah.. i definately want to listen in on this interview. i know this is a subject for which ron has contempt. besides me actually being interested in it, i want to see how will this be handled.

I predict that Ron will "sincerely" appreciate the interviewee's talent and body of work...there will however, be the ever so subtle passive aggressive verbal dart thrown at the entire fantasy genre

well shit. it was kinda thrown before the interview started. he seemed upset he had to ask questions about LoTR rather than the other parts of Serkis's work.

I'm sure Ron would rather just spend half the interview talking about him playing Martin Hannett in "24 Hour Party People", then the other half discussing him playing Ian Dury in "Sex & Drugs & Rock n' Roll".

Actually, I can't blame Ron.
