I love Jimmy's sense of humor and comedic prowess, but if I hear him do his "let me educate you with knowledge" nasal inhale then spew off statements completely devoid of common sense and facts about current affairs, I will smash some misfortunate's head with a clawhammer.

Listening to Opie talk about walking the babie around bouncing her for 3 hours, I guess it's a byproduct of living in apartments that folks up there can't just let a baby cry. When ours were little and they started crying, we checked all the normal needs, once they were met and we knew everything was ok we'd try and comfort them for a bit then just lay them in their crib and let them cry. Never had to do this more than 3 or 4 times with either kid, they figured out that screaming wasn't gonna get you a 3 hour carnival ride as a reward.

Today, coming back to the air as Tarantino is coming into the studio, Erock played "Little Green Bag".
Anthony and Opie both questioned him as to what it was and why he was playing it.

That was cringe. I can see Opie being clueless, but was surprised at Anthony. To his credit though, he did get it first and describe the scene.

Still, I can't imagine being under the age of 60 and not immediately associate it with the film. For me, I had never heard the song until I saw the movie.

A couple of months ago they were complaining about not having any days left to take off, they couldn't figure out where they all went. They signed a new contract, evidently got a reset on available days off, and it seems like one or the other has been gone ever since. Won't be long until they start bitching about the bean counters keeping track of everything.

The worst part about Opie is he thinks he's really, really smart.
He drops something like "there's more violence on the news than in a violent video game." Which couldn't be any more wrong as a statement, neverminding the fact that children dont watch or enjoy the news.

He brought a stripper/porn star to the One Direction concert. When pulled into the office with a boss (steve?), he acted like a dick and got himself fired.

I think it was Blatter who said he had never been so disrespected in his professional life. Also, they made it clear to Opie that Danny could not be saved so they shouldn't even try.
They also said that Derrick also works for Rockstar Games, like Than, so maybe danny will be joining them.

With the way Danny acted, he would probably be DQed from unemployment for six weeks. Gross insubordination is never reflected well.

Depends on the state, what you did, and they have a hearing about it. There is at least a 7 week DQ for termination with cause in Jersey.
Now, on the other hand, certain companies won't stand in the way of getting unemployment benefits because they don't want to get sucked into a wrongful termination suit (even though Jersey is an at-will state) or other reasons. Basically, in not so many words, "Look, you fucked up and you can't work here any more, but you're a decent person and we're not going to fuck you over by not letting you get unemployment."
At a previous job, we had a guy fuck up REALLY bad where we lost a major client. He got fired but the boss looked the other way when he got unemployment.
In Danny's case, he may not be so lucky.

I'd think that since Sirius is run by a bunch of ex-radio people that they'd be use to on air and producers being out of line, they'll let him get his unemployment. Talent (term used loosely in Danny's case) are a temperamental bunch, and they should be use to that.

I for one am happy to not hear him anymore (even though he was comparatively quiet at the end)...if they could just get rid of that Troy guy (I think that's the name of the guy that likes to personally attack everybody...Opie dresses terribly, Erock is a rich but unworthy hack, Jim Brewer is not funny, etc.)

I actually know a guy who was fired over a lone incident in a similar way. Basically made himself look like an asshole in front of the president of the company who then proceeded to say something like "i dont know who this guy is, but he's gone."
I think they would probably say that one direction was incident 1, and then the meeting was incident 2. But if you work in a business, and someones always in the middle of the shit even if it isn't exactly falling in their lap, you're probably gonna cut them loose if given the chance.

Danny won the drawing they were holding for a single employee plus guest to attend the concert. This was his little joke. And like underdog said they saw the porn stars name on the guest list and brought him in to question him about it before anything actually happened, and that's when Danny was such a dick to the boss that they fired him.

When they did the Fez cant speak for a week challenge O&A were messing with Fez, trying to get him to break. Earl went in to protect him, and once he realized they had been dousing the mute fez in liquid ass Earl tried to bull rush them. Danny dumped Earl on his head in the scuffle and Earl passed out and got carted out by EMS. Then spent all afternoon getting yelled at by Ron and Fez.
