I agree with it all up until BH not being a homophobe. The guy is clearly trapped in the past and so are his stances. He's not a supporter at least, and I'd guess he's like most aging christians of old based mostly in intolerance unfortunately. I met BH and he's nice enough, but I'm a white dude he can easily relate to. Based simply on his calls over the years, not actually knowing him, he's a cool guy unless you don't line up with his values overall.

And of course Fez picks his battles, bc he's not a strong self-assured person who believes he's out on an island more than ever. It's much easier to project your anger on a routine caller versus the guys in the office or studio. You put it out there and in the end it's not that strong a push back, more a pathetic attempt to circumnavigate the true issues sitting right next to you. And my point is it's not even close to an anti-gay channel, so that point on making even this illogical stand is moot. Even Fez can distinguish this in his head and it's a comical stand to take even IF he wanted to try. He's smart enough to know when something will fail and doom him. Which is why it wouldn't happen even IF he was that illogical, much less face off versus Ron.

I was thinking about that very thing the other day...I started listening to the show when they were in DC and I joined this site when they were doing the NFL viewing threads

there was definitely more of a community feeling back then...Ron used to say that if you enjoy the show, then you are probably the type of person they would be comfortable hanging out with
