It's pretty awesome. Every year they figure out how to make it burn faster and hotter, which I dont know how they're going to do it this year because last year really felt boderline dangerous.

Two things that keep coming up. 1: It's not more sporting for a human to kill an animal with a bow. You're a fucking human, your species has gone to the moon, deer still shit down the back of their legs. Your brain means a hunt is never 'fair.'

2: A "factory kill" isn't more morally sound than a hunted kill. If you value the animals quality of life then how come it's morally justifiable in one instance and not the other? If you dont like factory farmed food thats fine, but it's for the quality of human life, not the quality of animal life.

I'm totally in favor of hunting animals like deer. I would say that we're interested in the deer population more for our own quality of life though. To keep them off the roads, to stop defoliation, and to limit disease in that population which might lead to their population collapse.

I've not hunted, and I get that its way more challenging to hunt with a bow, but I mean I dont put a lot of value in saying ot a person in Fez' position that it's morally clear because I'm using a bow rather than a gun which makes it more fair. We're talking about the food chain, which isn't fair. The fact that it isn't fair is why we could sustain ourselves so successfully that we could invent the bow and arrow to begin with. It wasn't fair when we just had rocks and were less evolved.
