I think you also have to account for the strength of the viewership is reflected through social media whether it's good bad or indifferent, and that's going to drive up what you're charging Chase and Nexus and all the other corporate sponsors.

You're right, kids dont get Pink Floyd. Why do stupid kids want to have their own experiences, dont they understand they should have mine? I mean, if this kid will sit and listen to me yell at them about Dark Side of the Moon like I just caught them keying my car well I'd certainly attentively learn about dubstep from them.

The nature of twitter is bitching and you confronted twitter with a hugely silly spectacle last night. It's gonna happen, it isn't a big deal. Everyone snipes at something, I realize that this is a new york centric thing so it's just offensive to bitch about it, but they sure did eat up the bitchfest that was published in the new york times when a guy from california opened the worlds largest dennys in a part of the city they never go to anyway.
I watched a chunk of this with two other guys, all three of us gave money to storm relief, all three of us dealt with storm damage ourselves, all three of us talked some shit. Humans talk shit, get over it.
"did I interrupt you at a bad sweater party?"...that was my first chuckle
remember when there was a hurricane that didn't impact the new york area?..NO

Oh spy, I wasn't telling you to get over it, I was using the royal 'get over it.'
But yes I'm being negative because the show brought a brimming bowl full of negativity to start off with. I'm very reactionary and I hate the lets chastise the audience thing and this strikes me as fairly hypocritical on Ron's part.

Here's the irony.
The egotism that fuels the twitterverse to expect everything to be to their liking and to bitch about/sport criticize everything is the same egotism that people who were young in the 60s and 70s exhibit by not expecting the music of their youth to be as timeless for all generations.

The whole thing is demographic. The largest section of the baby boom cohort (born in the early fifties) was coming of age musically when the Beatles & Stones were hitting so they'll continue to have the most cultural relevance until this section of Boomers starts dieing out more quickly.
DANG IT...Kokomo's last day is tomorrow?

the way she did it on the show honestly reminded me of the old timey baptist church singing at my dads church, mournful. If she did it this way on the LP, blech. But if it's better after her being produced by a good producer, Ok.
