Make a ginger's day (http://www.cafepress.com/robotartist)
We've got our top scientists working day and night to figure out a Ron and Fez (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=4)
Mistah O'neal if ya nasty (http://www.amazon.com/Mr-P-Patrice-ONeal/dp/B006G4PS9M/ref=sr_1_3?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1322671850&sr=1-3)
Interawhat, interawho, interabang! (http://theinterrobang.com/)
To Hell with Sailor Time (https://www.siriusxm.com/player/basic/)
Call in! Don't suck.

1 866 Ron 0 Fez

About to hop on a call, hopefully back in time for the start of the show because I have a feeling this will be one for the books with Fez and gun control. So, a nice light diddy to start us off.

Marnie Stern has said that she wrote her new album to have more pop sensibilities, with more prominent vocals and less guitar. Which is kindof a head scratcher because shes famous for shredding. But if this first single represents it I'll takes it.

I hope he addresses the mental illness issue here, considering Fez and the shooter probably suffer from the same, or close-to, illness.

I disagree, enigmatic cult leader orchestrates a murder spree that includes a young, attractive, famous white woman. That would be all over the news.

And the In Cold Blood murder wasn't big news, the book was big news.

Ron cant possibly base his entire opinion on mental health care on Fez' experience. Fez has great mental health care regardless of whether or not it works for him.

Fez is a narcissist, almost impossible to cure. Ron's asking what we should do, kicks it to Fez and it's "I've been crying" "I'm sad"

I actually really dont like when people mix their high emotions with news reporting/discussion. I really hate the instant reaction focus that news agencies have started, because you get people saying really unnewsworthy things that are at the same time very understandable because emotions are hot at that time. I think it's irresponsible. So if Fez is gonna say that he's really sad and leave it at that, I think that's appropriate. I'm not saying on track record that he isn't a narcissist, but in this case I think between all 5 of the major voices on this station "I'm sad I've been crying" is probably the most worthwhile thing anyone has said.

I unable to listen live, but... I'm wondering.... have they discussed anything other than the tragedy in Newtown?

If not, that's their choice, and it's perfectly understandable.
But, for my own reasons, I would like to hear discussions about other topics.

Yeah, me too. I know this is a "topical" show, but I need a distraction. I know they'd feel insensitive if they didn't discuss it, but dang it, I can't think about this anymore.

It actually annoys me more than anything. He's not making any real points he's just streaming emotion and not thinking. I'm sure there's a place for that somewhere in the world, but it's really highlighted when juxtaposed with someone like Ron.

these fuckers choose places where they know nobody is armed. This is from an article a friend linked on FB

"He noted that the Aurora shooter, who killed twelve people earlier this year, had a choice of seven movie theaters that were showing the Batman movie he was obsessed with. All were within a 20-minute drive of his home. The Cinemark Theater the killer ultimately chose wasn’t the closest, but it was the only one that posted signs saying it banned concealed handguns carried by law-abiding individuals. All of the other theaters allowed the approximately 4 percent of Colorado adults who have a concealed-handgun permit to enter with their weapons."

exactly...the "threat" of an armed populace is a huge deterrent to crime

I also believe that the police should be encouraged to carry their weapon even when off duty...I cannot believe they are not allowed to carry their handguns on the New York metro system when off duty (unless this changed after the massacre some years back)

FBI stats show that violent crime rates, and the murder rate per 100,000 are lower in right to carry states than non.

I really disagree with this statement as it pertains to violent crimes.

I don't understand the disagreement...if someone is just stealing things, I don't think they should be met with deadly force

if someone intended to maim or kill others...I support the position that the others should be able to defend themselves (with deadly force, if warranted)

I think violent criminals prefer and more than likely will target an unarmed populace...conversely, I think they are probably going to at least "think twice" before attacking people that may be able to defend themselves in kind

with what part do you really disagree?
