my parents buy a side of beef a couple of times a year from a friend of theirs, it is completely grass fed beef. When I was up there for Christmas my mom hooked me up with a goody bag full of steaks and ground beef and a shoulder roast. I put the roast in the crock pot on saturday night with some cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix , and water, added some potatoes yesterday morning and just slow cooked it. I had it with a jar of green beans from my moms garden. Damn it was good! The marrow from the shoulder might have been the best part.
