Agreed but coming so soon after a week off it does seem unusual.

Given the trainwreck end to yesterday's show and the flowing river of Fez hate that showed up on the IBang afterwards (talk about your cesspools of negativity!) I have to think it's at least possible that somebody in management pulled the emergency brake and intervened in the Fez career death spiral. One hopes.

They put up a poll on who the better intern was after Fez starting (trying) to put the boots to Popcorn over something stupid. Popcorn got like 75% of the votes over Matty Ice and the comments following are just a torrent of hate for Fez. Given how little it takes to set him off and the fact that he says he quit his therapist this week I can imagine him curled up in the fetal position bawling somewhere inappropriate.

Why bother at this point?

Even if Fez comes in on Monday and has a good show, by the end of the week he'll be a mess again.

It's almost a shame that the show has to be called Ron and Fez, and I dont mean that like 'oh Fez doesnt contribute' but what makes me laugh on the show is much more expansive than that and if it was just Ron and Fez in a room every day I dont think I'd listen. But I know I can get a laugh from Ron, Fez, Pepp, the interns (maybe not these interns so much), the callers (shark, Paul, Jaymohrs), the staffers, the source material. So I'll get negative too when the show gets too negative, but I still vote that it's a quality show thats better than most of what's out there.

Best Ofs have turned into picking a show from the past few months and replaying it in it's entirety. Not sure when or why that happened.

In the early XM days, weekend best-ofs for both shows were replays of entire shows from that week. Many of us preferred that since the will of any producer is unable to resist the inexplicable desire to splice together celebrity interviews with zero replay-ability into a custom-made best of.

Agree. I've definitely known people who go out of their way to paint themselves as constant victims. It's a terrible quality in a person and they're always just as miserable to listen to as Fez is.

I can't comment on the Ibang, but Fez gets a fair shake here when he's actually contributing. Remember that one day like a year ago when Fez was inexplicably like old Fez from start to finish? That listening thread was full of positivity and good vibes. I think it was a Friday show, and by Monday it was back to death grip on the console.

I think those rare teases of old Fez we get actually make the anti-Fez sentiment stronger, because it shows us that the old Fez still exists somewhere. Like someone else said, if it wasn't called "The Ron & Fez Show" I think less people would dwell on Fez not pulling his weight anymore and more people would accept the sad, occasionally funny train wreck that he is today.

My friend came back from Portland and Seattle and she said it was crazy how many homeless/junkies there were but none of them bother you like east coast bums. She said it was pretty refreshing.

In the movie, John Candy comes out of the "fancy" lobster restaurant to deliver toothpicks and mints to his family while they are waiting in line outside. The very next scene, John Candy's son played by Joey Lawrence is looking at sailing trophies inside the restaurant. As soon as they cut to that scene, there is the most obvious transvestite on the left side right in front of the camera in a blond wig waiting in line. (It's like a really gruff dude in a wig.) I have seen this movie a hundred times, Once you notice him/her it is jarring. I have no other output for this info, so I thought I'd dump it here.

I'll look for that, I've seen this movie a hundred times too and I always cringe at how bad they dub the little girl at the end.
