I don't see the big deal. There's no disrespect intended.
It's like a few years back when people were briefly outraged about sportscasters for all the war terminology they use during games. There's clearly no intent to diminish the seriousness of war. Lighten up.

I don't know, but I will never forget the hypocritical bs that Blowhard threw out a few years ago when he said, kids these days are thugs and then went on to relay a story about how he abd his buddies used to go to Coney Island take drugs and rob people. "

This is why rock is dying. Rock stars of all ages want to wine their way through songs, hip hop stars talk about getting things, getting wasted, and being somewhat masculine.

I respectfuly disagree.
It's one thing to use an impersonal term like "bomb" for a punch in boxing or a long touchdown pass. It's another thing altogether to equate people tweeting with the people who run towards fires and explosions.
Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
Damnit. My training ended just in time for an UnMast??

reminded me of something, one of the miami heat sportcasters for the tv games has a long used call of 'ka-bom!'for 3 point shots made. I wondered if he gave it a break, or will he use it if/when the heat play Boston.
