Have you seen The Off Hours with Amy Seimetz, the female lead? I really liked it. If you are into so-called "mumblecore" type flicks you would probably dig it, and Seimetz is really strong in it. It being set in the Pacific NW, it struck me how well it captures the perceived hopelessness and "waiting to die" of these blue-collar coastal towns.
