Meaning I feel like any priest teaching secular students in college is probably as uninterested in being a priest as you can be while still remaining one.

Nah, if the servers received a higher salary and no tips, prices would go up accordingly. All three parties would break even all the same. Hell, reputable employers now have to report tips as part of your earnings, so there's even less of a difference than there used to be.

I was wondering that, myself. I don't really deal with the taxes, so I honestly don't know.

Another aspect, that's actually a bit of a rip-off, that automatic 18% gratuity...it's somewhat common for the 3% to go to the house.

There are a lot of answers as to why that's dumb, but the first one I thought of was I do think you hear advocates being in favor of both things.

Yeah obviously the people who were bigamists based on fundamentalist doctrine wouldn't be thrilled to be in league with the gays, but the more libertarian gang bangers would be.
