Early thread because I may or may not have my computer reassembled by showtime. Fingers crossed. You're missing one hell of an O&A show featuring Lady Di, Marion, Colin Quinn, Bobo, and Ira.

Wazzup, boppers?

O and A was train wreck radio at its absolute finest this morning.

After 2 awesome days of Paul O, is it possible the buddays can keep the funny train rolling?

Shit. I step away from my desk for a minute and HT Boring appears to discuss social media?? :wallbash:

If you would take a phone call where you are it's ok to tweet, if you wouldn't take a phone call it isn't.

Going to my prior post, if you're gonna have small talk, you can tweet. You can do both at times when a call wouldn't be appropriate.

I was at a fancy dinner and at the next table was this huge graduation dinner and the one little kid at the table was set up with a lap top and giant headphones playing video games through the whole meal, and it's all dark in the restaurant so there's this crazy blue light too.

It must be hell to have to lug kids around. And to have to weigh the benefits of making the kid interact with adults vs dealing with a bored pissy kid who doesn't want to attend a graduation dinner when everyone else just wants to drink overpriced wine.

"If it was up to her she probably wouldn't have been there." What is she, fucking 15? Adults can stay home by themselves. If you go to a funeral with someone else it's because you're being supportive not because you'll get into the medicine cabinet, you shouldn't be pouting there.

I just try really hard to avoid going into churches.

Well there's that too, I'm talking weddings and funerals because that's the only time I'm in a church.

realmenhatelife
06-28-2013, 07:43 AM
I also think doing this at a family funeral or a friends funeral is a little different because your relationship to the deceased is less in question. It's not out of the realm of possibility that NY celebrities wanted to show up at a funeral to be seen, and if someone is tweeting from the church that certainly doesn't help that perception.
