I don't think the bourbon is screwing up my cholesterol or sugar, I think it's just the time of year it is. This happens every year, my numbers get all screwy because lots of people I know come to the beach on vacation and I end up eating with them, after tourist season my numbers always get better.

I think it really depends on how much you enjoy Ron's interviews. Fez is even less of an entity on the show than he was 3 months ago and the show seems to largely exist as a way to do RBI and Unmasked. Unfortunately there's just way less focus on funny.

this group of interns have been gold but they'll be gone soon but paulo will be moving in with fez then so it should turn in a new direction again,i still find it entertaining and usually listen a day behind while i'm at work to give me something good to keep me company

I've seen stories on the national news - where some moron painted something on the door of a church - probably some half-wit half-breed with a half-slice - and it made national news. Yeah - I see what you mean. But - as far as the "in depth" Movies and Arts focus comment, I don't know that it is that, except to an older demographic group. I mean - I haven't heard many young kids lately talking about the Allman Brothers Band, or the Godfather movies or Jim Morrison. I think what you say applies more to the interviews and Unmasked than the show itself...

That's a great point, but other countries outside the US have other arrangements about how to handle the income tax part - so he wouldn't have lost that much (in addition to the 39%) - if he hadn't been from the US.

Oh and I was outside when I heard this a bit ago but what's with the nonsense of Ron acting like manufacturing jobs dried up in this country because millenials dont want them. That's some revisionist fucking history if I've ever heard it. The whole reason why EVERYONE goes to college now is there are barely any jobs you can support yourself and a family on that dont require some level of additional education or training. All those jobs shipped overseas and the minimum wage hasn't kept pace with the cost of living by even a fraction.

Not to mention fucking Ron sure didn't relish the idea of working in the same oil refinery or steel mill from the time he was 18 until he retired.

How was the show today?

I thought it was a good show, Ron interacting with the interns for about 3 1/2 hours, plenty of laughs. After that there was an interview with a guy who made a picture book of Zeppelin, I zoned out for that part.
