That's the rumour, but it may just end up being a suspension. We probably won't know for sure until tomorrow. I do agree that Troy did it to himself, but once HR hears someone say the phrase "unsafe work environment" they can pretty much do whatever they want.

im gonna have to call bs on that one. fez didnt have to say anything about "unsafe work environment." once troy started to throw slurs around and threatening other employees, HR could then do whatever they want. this kind of consequences is what happens in the real workplace environment when this kind of shit goes down. its just that o&a staff are not used to having it applied to them, so they cry "persecution"

They were saying r&f went to management to try to smooth everything out with Troy, after the fact. O&a also seem to think it's all about the threats of violence (they kept saying no one thought Troy would hurt anyone) and not the slurs (just bonkers). They also kept harping in how no one on their show wanted him fired, like anyone imagined they did or it mattered in any way.

I agree with you that Troy caused the problem, with his over the top ranting, threats of violence and name calling. My only point is that even if Mark Zito went to HR and said he was fine with the incident (which it was stated at one point he did), HR might feel they have no choice once the unsafe work environment phrase came up. Nobody to blame but Troy, but I think Fez may have added some fuel to the fire.

Director, supervisor and everything - I am the only one at my company of about 125 employees. I would counsel Troy and explain the policies regarding harassment and violence in the work
Place and probably suspend him at worse for a bit. Then everyone would have to attend refresher training on these topics and denote that the company doesn't tolerate that behavior
Probably put him on a final warning for his behavior too.

I never watched House very much but this guy was hilarious in an old British show based on PG Wodehouse's Jeeves and Bertie Wooster characters.

If you read Wodehouse and think that any adaptation would ruin it, you will be surprised how well they pull it off.
