Previously on Ron and Fez:
1) Ron takes a phone call and disappears
2) Fez is at work but does not annouce he is there
3) Pepper is manning the guns

(I wish Ron and Fez were written as well as Breaking Bad)

Yeah I was away pretty much from 1pm on yesterday so I was pretty surprised that Fez was back from being sick and they hadn't mentioned it.

Although part of his ailment involved a vocal chord nerve, so maybe they told him to not talk? speculation?

There's also a threshhold for how good a cheesesteak can be. There are bad ones, and there isn't that much difference between the good ones and the great ones. So just go to a good place, it's the same as a great place.

Maybe they never expected he'd mess up the calls so bad Ron had to mention it.

I've seen Lionel Ritchie videos before.

Ah, funny. What led to them discussing the vid?

And I love a delicious cheese steak but it's not like a universal food, some people just arent going to be into a cheese steak. If you've been to like a Tony Lukes and you didn't like it there's nowhere better or worse in the city that's going to change your mind.

Pork sandwiches are probably the unsung philly sandwich people could pay more attention to. Hot peppers and sharp provolone.

I love cheesesteaks. Went someplace smaller I think you recommended last year. Haven't gone to any of the big places, but people always say to avoid them.

Loved the pork/provolone/broc rac at I think DiNic's in the terminal market.

So the discussion has turned to band members who don't carry their weight...

Does Ron go to one of the (probably) hundreds of calls piling up ready to shout "What about Fez?" or does the irony go uncommented upon?

I think the point of Almost Famous is that no one is cool, and cool is a fake construct. Not that Fever Dog looked cool but actually wasn't.

I took my boys to the Carnival of Madness at the Stone Pony Sunday.

The lineup was We As Human, Sevendust, In This Moment, Skillet, and Shinedown.

In between sets, one of the songs they played was Don't Stop Believin', and the entire crowd sang along.

a song IS lyrics and melody, playing a riff around that melody doesn't constitute a writing credit. It does earn you mechanical royalties if it makes it to the radio.

Fez is taking the fun out of everything these days.

It's like when you play the old joke of telling a differently-enabled individual that they're getting a puppy and when they open the box it is really a rabid badger. Sure it's funny the first ten times or so but, when they keep falling for it, it gets - I dunno - almost a little sad.

That's what Fez has done to the show. Made the "tease the retard" bits more unentertainng than listening to former child actors talk about a 25 year old sitcom.

yes for me, I wince everytime Ron makes Fez talk. If I know fez is going to do 20 mins on gay rights I can just listen to something else, but for some reason ron won't leave fez alone.
Its very passive aggressive. ron won't break the brand I have been told on this board, so he always will resign with fez.

It is sad.
