I didn't see that. Was it in the same at bat? If so, I have the same opinion - the pitcher should have been ejected.

Yeah, Victorino angrily chirped at the pitcher about how when you throw at someone you dont throw high. Then when he got hit it cleared the benches.

I think intentionally throwing a baseball at someone from 60 feet away is an inherently cowardly act. I've never bought the argument that it's part of the game.

With the frequency it happens I dont really care. If it was constant I'm sure I'd be against it. But it's their world and their standards.

I just hate when coaches come out and act like "oh this is bullshit" in press conferences. Like I'm sure Joe Girardi never had anything to do with plunking someone in either his playing or coaching careers.

The Nats manager bitched about the Hamels/Harper thing meanwhile he's ratting out former players of his for throwing spitters but only after they leave the team.
