I'm actually surprised that Breaking Bad wasn't getting bigger ratings.
Both The Walking Dead and Duck Dynasty are in the 12 million range.
It actually went down this week from last week from 5.9 to 4.8 million.
I know it's easy to say you can't go broke underestimating the American public.
Rizzoli and Isles is the number one cable series currently with 8.4 million.

I think it's because you have to have watched all the other episodes to get to this point. Rizzoli & Isles, on the other hand, you can just drop in and start watching. It's pretty much the same it always has been: they'll wrap up a case in an hour, and you tune in to see if this is the week they finally make out.

i only know it from seeing commercials while watchin NBA games on TNT. They also have the exact opposite casting for the same fuckin show, called Franklin and Bash, and zach morris is in it

With downloading and sites were you can watch the show commercial free within an hour of it finishing, it's not really fair to judge any show on ratings, especially against a show in the past. I read somewhere that they got 500k downloads within hours of it being put up. Who knows what rating this show would have done 5yrs ago.

Probably because it does not make any money for them. People fast forward the commercials so you wont get more money from Ads because of it.

I kinda got into Pawn Stars around season 2 or 3, then later, because of PS, I started watching American Restoration, which is pretty awesome. So after I got into AR I caught a season 1 ep of Pawn Stars, in the episode Ron Dale, who is Rick Dale's brother from American Restoration, showed up at the pawn shop to pawn an old Coke machine, the machine was bought, then sent to Rick Dale to restore, an entirely stupid charade, but one that was only revealed after the success of pawn stars caused Rick Dale to get his own show and let his brother be on it.
Long story short, Pawn Stars is totally fake, it is completely staged, so I stopped caring, American Restoration may have some silly staged side stories going on, but the actual restorations are real, so I still watch.

Thats how I feel about Fast N Loud. The first season was very genuine and they started interjecting fake shit starting with the next season, which is annoying but I do find those guys actually funny and they are turning out cars so it's good enough for me still.


I never watched a lot of pawn stars but I've seen enough to know all the episodes are more or less the same. In March 2013, A&E won a partial victory in the suit when a federal judge tossed out Hester's claim of unfair business practices, calling the show "expressive free speech", and stated that his claim of wrongful termination was not specific enough.

In July 2013, Hester's lawsuit was ruled in favor of A&E and Original Productions. Hester was ordered to pay $122,262 in legal fees.

I remember reading something from one of the producers after Hester was let go. He basically said Dave was the same off-camera as he was on and it got to the point where he wasn't worth all the aggravation he was causing.
