You're right, all the media coverage points out the "randomness" of choosing their victim, but there's no way it would be presented that way if the races were reversed.

The randomness is the shocking part because it's such a blase attitude. If white kids killed a black guy and made the same statement I think it would be treated the same way, and actually probably more because theres a history of these types of boredom crimes sensationalized in America.

And you couldn't judge it a hate crime unless you could point out that the white kids targeted a black guy. It's harder to prove the other way because there are more white guys in Oklahoma than black guys.

Also, Sharpton isn't a judge or anything, he's just a loud guy. You could be white sharpton if you really wanted to be. Have at it. Unless it gets said in court it doesn't count.
