The stocks are really just a way to raise money to do things like stadium renovations (such as they did recently). They really are the closest thing you can come to a community owned team. Sure... The citizens can't profit from "owning stock". But the ownership of the Packers is unlike anything in the league. It's basically set up so, the team will always stay there, unless people stop buying tickets. And they NEVER stop buying tickets.

This is why I don't pay much attention to what artists do outside of their art. I just enjoy (or don't enjoy) the product. There are countless musicians, for whom I have no respect as individuals. But I still enjoy much of their music.

My point is, people love to characterize Stone as being someone who constantly makes movies that are all lies. He made ONE FUCKING MOVIE that fits that model. Does that one movie make everything else he has ever done worthless? Even if you don't like the style of his other movies, how can you use that one movie as an excuse to disparage his other works?
