Havent announced it but they do seem to be in a holding pattern so maybe they're waiting on him.

They probably replayed the last one he did, it used to make best ofs.

I thought I remembered fairly recently you complaining about him coming in. Could have been one of dozens of other aging rockers though.

Maybe the old drummer who couldn't talk.

Yep, just took my break, so there's his intro music.

Isn't a bad crowd also the performer's fault? Especially if they're showing up to see them? Like o&a always bitching about their fans being dicks? Like if they're just there and not into you, sure you can call it a bad crowd for you, but if they're paying to see you and THEN not into you...maybe you suck.

Oh, and love the PKD.

Oh, and love the PKD.

In my experience there is such thing as a bad crowd HOWEVER 9 times out of 10 the crowd being bad is somehow the band's fault. Like you booked a venue you shouldn't have, you've alienated your good crowd, you're putting out a product that only attracts shitty crowds like "only playing their hits!" or they are feeding off the bands low enthusiasm.

All of our exposure is through pitchfork and now we're pissy on stage because we're looking at a sea of iphone screens.... Yeah man, thats your fault not theirs.

Exactly.
The shoot part is Ron is fed up with Fez and doesn't want to do the show with him anymore.
The work part is that he would actually say no to the money and give up his cushy gig. It's not happening.

I think a strong formula in their old show was based on Professional Wrestling (e.g., the heel turn)...I think Fez is still dependent on these formulas, Ron has grown tired of them (especially when they die on the vine), Fez leans on them when pressured by Ron to be more interactive which further frustrates Ron

I don't think either one of them knows how to come to terms on this...with any outcome, I'll continue to listen because I am still entertained

I think some changes are coming, I don't think the show goes away, like you said, Ron ain't walking away from the money. I don't think Fez continues in his current capacity as a partner, I think the show name changes, and possibly the time of the show, maybe it goes to evenings.
And lastly, the constant references to how we'll never see or hear from Shelby again makes me think he's coming back in the reboot.
But, as many times they've done this bit, this one smells different, so I think there will be changes.

This sounds about right. Hopefully there is someone hanging in the wings that can be a an equal pillar to Ron to raise the level of the show to where we know it can be. (Not just swapping Shelby in for Fez.) Somebody like Jay Mohr, Bill Burr or one of the other regulars on O&A would be great.

If all else fails Ron always has his podcast with Jennie Hurt to fall back on.

since we're speculating, JJ has his own show already, and he'd drive Ron crazy, he's a bit of a mic hog. Burr is being hailed as the next Louis CK, no way he gives up his constant touring and acting career. Big J is about the only constant to the show, as far as comedians go, I'm not too sure about him though, he's a funny standup, but doesn't work too hard at the banter when he's on the show.
