The one nice thing about the noon start time is I'm always surprised how close it is to lunch.

It was the first week of school, and kids couldn't get there.

EMS workers also couldn't get to calls. A 91 year old woman died as a result.

There is a ton of development and construction going on around me. When I'm sitting in traffic I absolute think about what shits the politicians are because I know they approved all of it, especially that they approved it all at the same time so you literally cant drive anywhere and not be in it.

Also, the bridge I used to cross 2-4 times a day thats a mile from my house was condemned and I know the politicians that are behind it being closed for two years.

No thats not accurate. There's no party called independent so you cant say that if 40 some percent of people were truly independent we'd have more independent politicians. I'm sure they just mean they dont 100% support either republicans or democrats. Even if it did 40% of voters split amongst independent parties leaves 60% between Reps and Dems which would have the two majors still winning all the elections.

But I dont think the cheese steak is the epitome of food culture in this part of the country.

And there are good ones in plenty of places, not just Philly.
