Wouldn't any extra traffic just be press vehicles? The stadium has a finite number of seats. I'd assume that both NY teams pretty much sell out every regular season game. A larger than normal amount of seats will be filled by people who aren't driving, it's not a Monday or Thursday game, and the local authorities have had a couple of years to plan for it. What are most people saying there, as to why it would be so bad?

To be fair, I can see a valid concern with the added security, post 9/11. I'm sure there will be some major hassles for some people. But seriously... It's one weekend. People have had years to plan for it. If I lived there, and had no option to stay at home that weekend, then I'd be annoyed. But I doubt that is much of an issue for a large percentage of the population.

I finally got the stuff and made myself some Jersey style Sloppy Joe's over the weekend. Really fucking good sandwich. Ron said they had corn beef on them though, and every recipe I found used pastrami.

I finally got the stuff and made myself some Jersey style Sloppy Joe's over the weekend. Really fucking good sandwich. Ron said they had corn beef on them though, and every recipe I found used pastrami.

I'll be having this sandwich again. Maybe make a platter of them for Super Bowl.

They have anything you want. Turkey, pastrami, corned beef, roast beef.

Probably not ham, that seems wrong.

regular, it was the thinnest I could find, we don't get the rye choices down here that folks in the NE get.

I went with pastrami, roast beef, and turkey. And I may have made one with some thin sliced ham added. Every way, it was a really good. The slaw and the russian dressing kept it from being any where near dry

Nobody is writing down these suggestions. Nobody is routing their trip based on a phone call from "Matt in Belmar" who thinks "the Whitehouse Tavern down there on East Main Street makes the best French fries. Oh my god."
