See, there's two of them. Ted Leo and Aimee Mann's new project. Unfortunately the studio version of this is better but I cant embed it from soundcloud. This is close though. Ted Leonine guitars, Aimee Manning vocals.

I also wanted to talk about the grammys. No one seems to watch them. Atleast I didn't hear any real people talking about them, not even office chatter, and none of my friends had any comment on them via social media. So I dont think it's ego centric to say that not a lot of people watch the grammys just because I dont watch the grammys.

And yet everyone who possesses social media presence as a commodity was talking about the grammys. Celebs and paid commentors had lots to say about them. It created a weird condition where it seemed like the only people watching the grammys were in some way sponsored to do so. So who were they commenting to? Us I guess but we didn't want to watch them.

My trainer watched them. I accused her of making my workout extra difficult, because she was angry that Pink didn't win something. I told her to watch something pleasant next time. I never watch them, but it's just because I don't like award shows, I don't have anything against it, per se.

I watch the Grammys for the performances. I wasn't overly impressed this year.
I thought the Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons song was by far the best.

Well you're talking about an award show for a medium most people dont give a shit about, contemporary music. Imagine if O&A did two days on the Tonys.

I never in a million years would've guessed that Pink would've hammered out this career. Doing the Q Mart proud. And Yum Yum donuts and the adult world.

It's not a spoof of Top Gun. But Archer (the character) is obsessed with getting people to say that a given "zone" would be a "danger zone", because he apparently LOVES Top Gun.

I saw Vic Henley a few times at Jokers in Dayton Ohio. The first time I saw him was about a month after getting out of the hospital, I had a health issue that forced me to wear a colostomy bag for 6 months, I wanted to stay home for the entire 6 months, but my wife pushed me out the door.
Sometime during the show I got up to take a piss, I was sneaking around the outer edge of the room ,where it was darkest, about half way to the bathroom I hear Vic say "where ya going Pops, time to change your bag?". I wanted to disappear. I looked back at the table, then looked at the Mens room, trying to determine which one I could get to quickest, I finally noticed an elderly gentleman waving at the stage and heading into the pisser.
I should have known he wasn't talking to me, I was only 38 at the time, Henley was probably older than me, and obviously there was no way he could have known. But still, I was wrecked for the night.
