There's been a weird endless repetition to certain aspects of the show in recent weeks.
"What's in the box?" "What's in the BOX?!" "what's in the booooox?"
"Hi Ron and Fez show, what game do you wanna play?" "What's in the box?"
Then we hear the clues repeated over and over again.
Then we hear the sounder again and again.
Then the whole process starts over again.
"What's in the fuckin' box?!"


"Ron and Fez unscreened phone calls"
"Unscreened phonecalls, Ron and Fez."
"Ron and Fez unscreened phone calls."
And now even THAT has a sounder.


This move to RawDogSiriusXMcomedyHits99 has done NOTHING for the show in terms of "a fresh start" or even "putting their best foot forward".
For the first time ever, I'm now hearing TWO hosts that don't wanna be there.

The amount of bitching that Ron did during the first hour of the show undid any amount of "cool" that Ron thinks he has. He sounded downright whiney. He's not in control of his show.... his crew... or even his comments. It was all so amateur, and Ron really came across like a pussy.


It's tempting to say that Ron is just coasting until April, but... I don't think Fez is going to leave in April. I'm sure there will be some kind of extension or whatever. Especially because they don't ever mention the deadline anymore. It's not even being used as a motivator.

I disagree.
I enjoy every show. (well... ALMOST every show, now)

It's funny and entertaining.
The only two shows that were truly unlistenable to me was Feb 4th, and the first show on RDSXMCH99... both of which featured a bitchy, whiney, unfunny, pussified Ron Bennington.

Other than that, the show still serves up plenty of insight. Lots of humor. Lots of compelling interviews. And a ton of other stuff that other shows don't offer.


Having said that.... if the Ron Bitchington Power Hour start to happen more and more frequently... yeah... I'm out.
