I went to a place where we had suckling pig on Saturday. We were three people on a 4 top and they wheel out a table to carve up your pig. But between the meat and all the family style sides that come with it there was absolutely no room left on that table and that was with 1 person missing. So I dont know how the hell they manage when all 4 people are there.

I hate how crowded they make a table in fancy places.

It's a fancy mexican place that does a price fix family style roast pig if you order it 3 days ahead of time. Really good place, nice atmosphere, shitty parking but thats to be expected for that area.

Good drinks menu if thats your thing.

its been shitty since they started asking that the xm online services be paid for. what kind of sense does that make? When it was free, i almost NEVER had a problem. once they started extorting $2.99 for online listening (which was part of the sub that was originally paid for) it all went down hill.

the online player skips and is way behind the radio feed; the phone app is glitchy and just stops (along with also being way behind the radio feed).

I think the show is going to resolve with all this stuff being a red herring. The show is kindof about the real life horrors we attach symbolic things to, so the reveal will be this very real thing instead of a cult.

True Detective is an anthology. This story is completed in 2 episodes. Next season will be a different story with a differerent cast and characters.

I don't watch True Detective, but all this talk reminds me of Twin Peaks.

The similarities are there because neither have followed the usual narrative paths that we're used to. Given True Detective has a finite run I have higher hopes that the ending won't disappoint.
