I loaded my ipod, watched True Detective, watched a Game of Thrones, did some 'man business' and went to bed. I had a very satisfying oscar night. I also woke up every few hours and looked outside to see that it wasn't snowing, then checked my phone to confirm there was currently a 100% chance of snow with 6 inches expected.

Your income needs to be directly tied to your output. Our sales force works from home and they're ok at it but they're also hustling commissions.
Office workers working from home are doing the minimum without the crushing boredom of an office making them say "well, might as well do some more work until my sites update."

Yeah this is what people dont seem to be getting about True Detective. It's about real things that are horrific, then fed through the tropes of supernatural horror things. So the man with really normal scars who is a normal size is the monstrous giant when described by compromised mind. The same thing when you see a guy wearing a gas mask, it gives him a distorted form. He's a monster in a real sense and it's translated through references to the supernatural.
We're hell bent on people hating this really great show because of their own dumb expectations.
