They had to kick him out. As Shirley has said many times, no member of their church will die until the rapture. If they didn't kick him out before he dies, it invalidates their preachings. It was probably his idea.

How does that family finance all their trips to protest funerals etc? I know a few of them are lawyers and the church is tax exempt but they aren't a huge congregation like Joel Osteens church.

I think they've won several lucrative lawsuits. I'd imagine, if you win just a few, and all of your trips could possibly be written off as church activities, then all they'd need to do is have jobs to survive.

Ahhhh, i took that as he was still accepted by the overall church/christian/baptist wing they are part of, not his own church. Hilarious! I never knew the other part either so thanks for the fucking great laugh too!

I don't think the Baptist Church in general recognizes them at all. I don't think ANYONE wants to take credit for them. In one of the articles I read, they were described as being "so full of hatred, the KKK protested THEM."

I'm sure there are people who plan to protest his funeral and there will be TV cameras there. He and his followers will love every second of the attention. The worst thing the public can do to him is ignore the funeral.
