I realized that people who bitch about the programming on these 24 hour news channels are full of shit. They're tabloid stations, they do tabloid formats. It's like checking out your groceries and bitching about the Weekly World News. Dont watch them if you dont like it, or just admit that you love it already which they all do.

Nah I just had a moment of clarity about it. Because I dont feel all outraged the Ron or O&A&J do about that 24 hour news stuff. And people talk about what the 24 hour news cycle but why do we treat that like some Walter Cronkite level stuff? We have no problem ignoring tabloid journalism.

It's about wanting to be worked up, which if you dont want to be you dont have to be.
