Ron has full on retconned himself into Alia Atreides in this story about his grandmother singing to him. I was three and I understood death and the fragility of life.

its ok. lots and lots of nudity, like its trying so hard to be "edgy". since its the first season, i give it some latitude. the story did start to pick up in the last few episodes.

I'm actually surprised GoT still had such aggressive nudity in it for the premiere, splr alrt.

I feel like that's something a show usually grows out of as it proves it has other equity. Like I was happy to hear that Emelia Clarke has it in her contract that she doesn't have to get naked anymore. Well not happy, but happy for her.

I really agree with this. I think of people who ONLY like KISS and Black Sabbath as being in a state of arrested development. Or for some people they just stand in the gateway never moving constantly saying "This hallway is fucking great."

Some people are content with pot as well.

if you can only have one thing for cooking, a pot is a lot more flexible than a pan...you can't boil much water in a pan and you can treat the bottom of the pot just like a pan

It certainly isn't fostering a healthy attitude towards women. Fellas, we all know deep down what they are, lets just cut through the bullshit.

And the lyrics to Iron Man are certainly dumb but musically Black Sabbath is pretty amazing, even out of context.

every time I hear that song I can hear Jimmy saying "are you", but he doesn't disrespect Ozzy like that, it's a little dishonest.

I remember some poor fool having the nerve to say he didn't like Black Sabbath...Jimmy yelled and screamed insults at the guy like a scorned middle-school girl, not letting the guy complete a sentence as he bombarded him with personal attacks (and of course his hysterical laughter at each of his insults)

Gee, I find that hard to believe Jimmy would act that way with a caller

I don't dislike Sabbath, but I find their music to be kind of pedestrian and not worthy of having such a rabid fan base. Same way I feel about the Dead.

we are apparently from the same bolt of cloth...I have a song here and there from both the Dead and Sabbath that I like but I cannot understand the cult-like loyalty they get from people

I'm not cult like with my Sabbath love (I didn't even start listening to them until late in my 20s), but they were one of those bands that changed music. I can understand their cult-like loyalty they get from people.

One of the cool things about Sabbath is how disparate their influence has been. They are heavy and sludgey, they're groove and riff based, and there is a really strong vocal. So you can see how like Sleep, Pantera, Clutch, The Melvins, and Alice in Chains are all really different bands that are all taking something from Sabbath.
