that Zman commercial is annoying as hell...in addition to the normal reason, he say "you get cash back for free"...when do you ever pay for cash back?

What is he advertising that offers cash back? The Zman credit card? Or is he offering cash refunds to people who thought they were getting cougars, but got milfs instead?
I know... I haven't listened in a long time. But it wouldn't surprise me, if he's still doing that fucking schtick.
Shecky Greene and Gurian? This is like being in the Catskills.
I may have to punt today...hopefully, the b-b-boys had a good show today :bye:

Sheckey Greene is the kind of thing they should have on considering the format though, so I take back my greaseball comment.
Although when he's talking to David Bowie's barber later it's grumble time.

It's swiss cheese, ham, roasted pork, pickles, yellow mustard and sometimes mayo on a cuban roll, then pressed in a grill like a panini.
A cuban roll is a softer loaf.

Ron had mentioned before that he was still doing the actor, directors, musicians interviews, but they were being played on other channels. I'm sure he's being allowed to fill some time with this fallback content while Fez is out.
For all the complaining we do about what Fez doesn't do, the show is pretty disjointed without him, so he must be doing more than we think.

I really think it was a sincere attempt to move to a faster paced, comedy base, etc. show and they wanted to do so..
Politely, I could not disagree more.
The very first hour of the "all new!" show was easily the worst hour in the history of the show. Ron was a little bitch for every minute of that hour. He was mean... he was unfunny... and he was all over the road. Completely insecure and totally scared. It was arguably thee worst possible way for him to introduce himself to new listeners. And it certainly was not in keeping with their mission statement of focusing more on comedy, and less on the drama.
And for WHAT? Because Fez (Chris?) played a different opening theme song??
It didn't even make sense!
It was immediately apparent to me that the new show would be the old show, without even a fresh coat of paint. Most definitely not a "sincere attempt" at anything, IMO.
Since then... the show has provided countless laughs and many many brilliant insights and observations. I still think it's the best show I've ever heard. But... it's the SAME best show I've ever heard. I feel absolutely zero difference in the overall vibe.
As I've stated before, if you played a random hour of the current show back-to-back with a random hour of the show from a year ago.... you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
And it certainly was not in keeping with their mission statement of focusing more on comedy, and less on the drama.
I think they're focusing more on the comedy in the sense that they are bringing in comedians almost daily - which I assume is why there is so much Gurian.
